1.
Switch on the remote control:
Unlock the
Remote control ON/OFF
switch [32, Fig. D] by turning it anticlockwise.
The remote control is on.
Radio connection to the machine is being estab
lished. The signal strength [26u] is displayed, as
well as a possible radio channel [26v] as a sug
gestion.
2.
If there is interference in the radio communica
tion on the displayed channel:
—
Move the switch [24] to the
Menu
set
ting.
3.
If the displayed radio channel should be se
lected:
—
Move the switch [24] to the
Connection
scan
setting
4.
Select the desired tool rotation direction with the
switch [34].

All specifications on the direction of rotation are
to be considered as seen from above the ma
chine.
5.
Select the desired tool speed with the dial [33].
The surface to be ground can now be machined.
Generally the grinding drive always has to be
switched on first and then the forward drive
(switch‐off is in reverse order)!
6.
Switch on the grinding drive:
Turn the
Grinding drive
ON/OFF
switch[25, Fig. D] to
ON.
7.
The grinding drive is on and accelerates to the
tool speed preset at the dial [26y].
8.
If necessary, adjust the speed to the grinding
conditions.
9.
Select the desired maximum driving speed with
the dial [27].
10. Select the driving direction and the driving
speed with the joystick [28]:

The driving directions marked in red can only be
selected when the machine is in motion.
The machine moves in the selected direction.
The floor is ground according to the settings.
3.4.4 Special features
Automatic drive
If you do not want to actuate the joystick constantly
during longer travel distances, you can select the
Au
tomatic drive operating mode.
—
When the machine is moving:
Move switch [31] to
Automatic drive
setting
and release the joystick [28].
The current driving direction and driving speed
are maintained automatically.
Using the
Trim
dial [29], the drift can be
corrected.
—
To end the automatic mode:
Move the joystick [28].
The automatic drive is off.
Automatic oscillation
In order to process a wider grinding path, the
Auto
matic oscillation operating mode can be selected.
—
Move switch [31] to the
Automatic oscillation
setting.
The grinding unit oscillates automatically to the
left and right during the drive.
The driving direction and the driving speed are
selected with the joystick [28].
The degree of oscillation depends on the speed.
Using the
Trim
dial [29], the drift can be
corrected.
—
To end the automatic mode:
Move the joystick [28].
The automatic oscillation is off.
Track turning
To turn for grinding the next track, the
Track turning
operating mode can be selected.
—
While driving forward:
Move the switch [30] to
Track turning
until
the desired driving direction is selected.
The machine reverses nearly "on the spot" so
that the next track can be ground (with overlap).
Trim
The machine may not be running in a straight line
due to the tool, the grinding pressure, the tool’s direc
tion of rotation or the consistency of the floor.
—
Using the
Trim
dial [29], the drift can be
corrected.
