Risk of poisoning due to harmful substances at
the workplace!
Eating, drinking or smoking at the workplace is
prohibited! Always eat in break rooms or can
teen areas!
After completing the work, thoroughly clean
yourself!
A general inspection of the machine must be
conducted before starting up the machine! Par
ticular attention should be paid to damaged or
loose components, and wear!
The machine may only be put into operation if it
is in perfect technical condition!
Adding to or modifying the machine in any way
that could compromise operating safety is pro
hibited!
Cleaning and maintenance may be done only by
trained personnel!
Maintenance must be conducted as described in
the operation manual!
Do not use high pressure cleaners to clean the
machine!
Do not operate the machine in areas where
there is risk of explosion or near flammable ma
terials!
Risk of damage due to excessive extraction ca
pacity!
The manufacturer strongly recommends to use
extraction devices of the Schwamborn brand
only.
3 Operation
Operation of the machine should be practised in
an open space before grinding for the first time.
Risk of injury from parts flung out during grind
ing!
Wear protective clothing and protective goggles!
Wear safety shoes!
Wear safety gloves!
Proceed with the greatest care and caution!
Danger of injury from loud noise during grinding
operation of the machine!
Always wear hearing protection when the ma
chine is in operation!
Risk of injury from dust formation during grind
ing work!
Connect an extractor unit to the machine or feed
in water during the grinding process!
Wear respiratory protection!
High‐voltage electrical current can be fatal! Do
not allow the power line to be run over, crushed
or pulled on!
The operating range is limited by the lengths of
the power line and suction hose!
Stop the machine in time!
Do not allow the suction hose to be run over,
crushed or pulled on!
3.1 Starting up the machine
Observe the safety instructions in Chapter 2!
The initial start‐up of the machine may be car
ried out only by qualified personnel!
A visual inspection of the machine must be car
ried out before starting up the machine!
Particular attention should be paid to damaged
or loose components, worn parts, and filling lev
els!
Do not transport any persons with the machine!
The machine must not be used as a tractor!
