A printout of the defined settings will be produced and gives the following information,
depending on the installed software:

ting (Y/N), bits and number of stop bits.
Mode Line or Modem
When this is selected, test options are given for the RS-232 communication port. Use
this test if the RS-232 port is suspected of malfunction. A special test plug is used to
carry out the UART test. See page
5.2.14 for details.
