Status Command
Standard Configuration
The SU command is provided to enable the current operation status of the OTF-920 to be probed.
The command returns a seven digit number. The interpretation of the seven digit number is detailed
below:
1-st digit 0
– Both sliders are stationary.

– Wavelength is set at given wavelength, but slider 1 is moving.
2
– Wavelength is set at given wavelength, but slider 2 is moving.
3
– Wavelength is being tuning.
4
– Slider is removed from beam, or is moving to set a wavelength offset.
5
– Slider 2 is set at given wavelength, slider 1 is being removed frombeam.
6
– Slider 1 is set at given wavelength, slider 2 is being removed from beam.
7
– Wavelength is being tuned, whilst other slider is removed from beam.
2-nd digit 0
– Peak search function is not active
1
– Peak search function is active.
2
– Peak search function is set to rapid mode.
3
– Rapid peak search function is in rapid mode and active.
3-rd digit 0
– Normal operation.
1
– Indicates out of control range when operated in APC mode.
4-th digit 0
– Normal operation.
5-th digit 0
– Normal operation.
6-th digit 0
– Normal operation.
1
– Attenuator is under automatic control (APC Mode on).
7-th digit 0
– Normal operation.
