The OTF-920 can be returned to its default factory settings by pressing and holding the Store
Key when power to the unit is turned on and the unit is initialized. Any offset applied to the
wavelength setting will thus be removed.
1. Press and hold the Store Key and turn on power to the OTF-920 using the Power On Key.
The Wavelength Display Panel will display “INITIAL”.
2. When the unit has initialized, pressing the Store Key will reset all parameters to their
factory defaults.

7.10. Storing Wavelength Offset & Parameter Settings
Data set using the Wavelength Offset described in Section 7.10 above is only saved in RAM and
is not stored when the power to the OTF-920 is turned off, or when the unit is reset. To
permanently store the offset data to memory follow the procedure below. This procedure stores
the following parameters: Wavelength Offset, APC target power (option) and APC Control
Range (option).
1. Press the Store Key. The message ‘STORE’ will be displayed in the Wavelength Display
Panel. The Optical Power Display Panel will display ‘ALL’.
2. Press the enter (ENT) key to store the parameters to memory. To cancel the input without
storing the settings press the Store key a second time.
