Trouble Shooting
1. If product will not freeze to proper consistency:
A.
Check for properly mixed product. Replace mix as necessary.
B.
Check for dull scraper blades. Replace as necessary.
C.
Check condenser for dirt or obstructions. See Quarterly Maintenance (page 12).
D. Ensure
that
compressor and fan will run.
E. Check consistency adjustment and belt wear. Adjust and replace as necessary.
2. If squeaking or chirping noises are heard:
A.
Properly mix product. Replace as necessary.
B.
Check belt tension. Replace if worn.
C.
Check rear seal. Replace if necessary.
D. Check lubrication.
3. If compressor does not run:
A. Check mix out light.
B. Inspect torque arms for free movement.
C. Check the torque switch. It must click when depressed.

D. Inspect the condenser for dirt or obstruction. See Quarterly Maintenance (page 12).
E. Check for proper clearance around machine. See Air Circulation (page 2).
4. If equipment leaks:
A.
Check o-rings and seals. Replace as necessary.
B.
Check for proper lubrication. Lubricate per instructions.
C.
Check premix line.
5. If unit freezes up:
A. Using rerun mix. Change to new mix.
B. Machine damage from previous freeze-up. Check freezing cylinder, dasher, and blades.
C. Freezing cylinder surface too cold. Check consistency adjustment.
D. Missing scraper blade or dasher assembly. Check these assemblies.
E. Brix too low. Ensure premix is diluted to manufacturer's specification.
