Data Setup
Your phone is capable of sending and receiving digital data and fax calls when
connected to a computing device (laptop, desktop, hand held, palmtop, etc.)
running the Windows operating system. Your phone functions similar to a modem
on your PC, enabling you to use wireless data involving a wide variety of Windows
applications.
To use digital data or fax services with your phone, you will need to obtain a digital
data/fax kit from your service provider. This kit contains the necessary cables,
software, and documentation required for you to connect and use your phone with
your computing device.
To modify the Data Setup option settings:

Using the navigation keys, highlight the desired option.
•
Data
: Configure the type of connection options. Use the navigation
keys to select one of the following.
•
Date/Fax Off
: Allows normal voice call use.
•
Fax In Once
: No voice calls can be received for 10 minutes. Allows
one incoming fax call, and then reverts to Off.
•
Fax In Always
: No voice calls can be received. Only allows
incoming Fax calls.
•
Data In Once
: No voice calls can be received for 10 minutes.
Allows one incoming data transmission and then reverts to Off.
•
Data In Always
: No voice calls can be received. Only allows
incoming data transmissions.
•
PC Connection
: Configure the connection to your PC. Select

Do Not Disturb
: When turned on, no voice calls can be received
while data is being transferred.

to save and exit.
Location
Your phone is equipped with a Location feature for use in connection with location-
based services that may be available in the future. The Location feature allows the
