Making a call using name dialling
You can make a phone call by saying the name that has
been assigned to a contact card in the Contacts
directory. For details, see “Name dialling” on page 165.
Note
: To use the Name Dial feature, the name and number
that you want to dial must be in your Contacts
directory. For details about the
Contacts
application,
see page 57.
Calling your voicemail server
The voicemail server is a network service which acts as
an answering machine where callers who are unable to
reach you can leave voice messages.
To call your voicemail server, press and hold
in
Standby mode.
If the phone asks for the voicemail server number, enter
it and press the
OK
soft key. You can obtain this number
from your service provider.
Each phone line may have its own voicemail server
number. See “Line in use (network service)” on page 238.
Changing the voicemail server number
To change the phone number of your voicemail server,
press
to open the Menu, and then select
Tools
→
Voice
→
Options
→
Change number
.
Enter the new number
and press the
OK
soft key.
