OTE
:
If you do not reset the counter, “Drum Warning” or “Drum
Empty” may appear before the current drum cartridge’s time is up.
Checking the Serial Number

Press Menu until “Sys. Admin Tools” displays on the top
line. Or, press Menu and 0 using the number keypad to
display “Sys. Admin Tools”. If the menu is protected by a
password, you need to enter the password.

Press the scroll buttons until “Maintenance” displays on the
bottom line and then press
Enter .

Press the scroll buttons until “Serial Number” displays on
the bottom line and then press
Enter . You can check the
serial number of this machine.

To return to the idle mode, press Stop/Clear .
Adjusting Shading
If the scanning unit becomes dirty, it can alter the shading
value. If your print has black lines or is blurred, adjust the
shading settings.

Load a sheet of white paper on the scan glass.
