Save to Outbox
:
allows you to adjust whether sent messages are
saved in the Outbox/Sent folder. Your options are:
•
Auto Save
: automatically saves a copy of the outgoing
message in the folder.
•
Prompt
: prompts you to save a copy of the outgoing message.
•
Do not Save
: does not save a copy of the outgoing message.
Auto Delete Inbox
:
allows you to indicate whether read
messages are automatically deleted from your Inbox.
Default Entry Mode
:
allows you to set the default character input
method for new text messages. You can select between:
•
T9 Word
: is a predictive text entry mode. For more
information, see page 28.
•
Alpha
: is the standard keypad text entry mode. For more
information, see page 29.
•
Number
: is the standard numeric entry mode. For more
information, see page 29.
Quick Text
:
Quick Text messages are used to enter common
responses to questions. You can select Quick Text templates to
automatically enter them into the message. You can also customize
Quick Text templates to say whatever you want by editing the 10
pre-set messages already stored in your phone.

To edit a Quick Text message, highlight the desired Quick Text
message and press
