Messaging
To set up Voice Mail:
1. Press and hold the
key.
2. Follow the system audio prompts to create your passcode,
record your greeting, and record your name announcement.
Voice Mail Notification
There are several ways your phone alerts you of a new message:
•
By displaying a message on the screen.
•
By sounding the assigned ringer type. For more information,
see "Messages" on page 116.
•
By displaying
at the top of your screen.
New Voice Mail Message Alerts
When you receive a new voice message, your phone alerts you and
prompts you to call to check your voice mail.
To check your voice mail immediately after receiving a message:
1. Press the
key to listen to the message.
2. Press the
key to return to the Idle screen.
To display your voice mail:

Press the left soft key
for
Menu
, then press
.
Tip:
You can also press and hold
to check your voice mail.
