Understanding the Key Lock Feature
The external keys on your phone lock when you slide the cover
closed in order to prevent the unintentional pressing of a key. This is
especially useful if you carry your handset in a purse or briefcase
with the keys exposed.
Your phone is also equipped with a configurable Key Lock feature
that disables the phone keys after a specified amount of time while
your are on a call or using the TELUS Music Player. For information
on configuring this setting, see "Keypad Lock" on page 134.
In both cases, when the keys are locked, a message appears at the
bottom of the screen instructing you to press
to unlock the keys.
Appears when the phone is set to vibrate.
Shows the charge level of your battery. The more bars you
have, the more power you have remaining.
Indicates that the battery is low and needs to be recharged.
Indicates that the camera’s timer is on.
Indicates that the flash or movie light is on.
