A Windows 7
allows different Windows firewall
settings for each network location.
The following network locations are available:
Home Network

Company Network
and
Common
Network
. You can determine whether to use the
Windows Firewall and select a firewall security
setting for each location.

If the network setting window appears in Windows 7
after setting up the IP address, select a location.
