Using Special Function Keys
The function key activates special functions when it is pressed in combination with
another keys.
When you press a function key combination, the system sound may be
temporarily muted.

<F1/Prt Sc>
Print Screen
Saves an image of the current screen in clipboard.
<F2/Sys Rq>
System Request
In DOS mode, calls another operating system. It does not have specific
function in Windows, and executes pre-defined function in some
programs.

User
Launches a user-defined program. Calculator program is launched as
default. (p17)
<F5/ CRT/LCD>
CRT/LCD
Switches the display between the LCD and external display device
when an external display device is connected. (p78)
<F6/Mute>
Mute
Turns the audio output on and off.

Volume Down
Decreases the audio volume.
<F8/

Volume Up
Increases the audio volume.
<F9/Rest>
Rest
Puts the computer into suspended mode. To escape suspended mode,
press the power button. (p80)

Brightness Down
Makes the LCD screen dimmer.
<F11/

Brightness Up
Makes the LCD screen brighter.
<F12/Scroll>
Scroll Lock
Scrolls the screen up and down while the cursor position does not
change in some applications.
<Num Lock>
Number Lock
Enables the numeric keypad. (p12)

Pause/Break
In DOS mode, pauses the scroll of the screen or exits a running
program.

Page Up
Move to the above screen.

Page Down
Move to the below screen.
