Delivery Acknowledgement
If turned on in the Message Setup or New Message options menu, this
feature provides an alert message with the delivery status some time
after a message is successfully delivered. The delivery acknowledgement
message will be displayed on your phone screen until you press any key,
and will include delivered date / time stamp, and a text notification of
‘Message to [Send To number or e-mail address] delivered.’
However, the Delivery Ack message will not be stored in memory,
but will be a one-time display only. Also, if multiple messages were
transmitted consecutively in short time, triggering multiple Delivery Ack’s
to be delivered to your phone, then only the last received Delivery A ck
will be displayed. The Text Outbox message display will be updated with
the delivered date / time stamp information.
Note:
Delivery Ac k is a type of message sent from the system
to indicate that a message arrived at its destination without error.

Mail kit memory capacity
Your phone can store up to 20 messages for Text Inbox and up to
20 messages for Text Outbox and Filed Messages combined. The
storage capacity includes all received, sent, and filed message
types; numeric page, VMN (voicemail notification), and text message.
The number of messages stored depends on the length of the messages.
When message memory reaches over 75% capacity, the screen displays
“Memory is xx% full. Erase old messages”, where xx is between 75 to 100.
At 100% capacity, the screen displays a text notification and rejects
additional incoming messages until you erase the stored messages from
Text Inbox, Text Outbox, or the Filed Messages .
Filed Messages
Your phone can store yet to be sent draft messages into the Filed Msg
folder. You can access this folder later to continue editing and to send
the message.
Note:
The memory capacity available for the Filed Messages folder is
relative to the Text Outbox memory capacity.
