ASSIGN DISA TRUNK
DESCRIPTION:
Allows the system the ability to have Direct Inward System Access (DISA). Because
there is a possibility that unauthorized calls will be made via this feature, several
safeguards have been added. The end user must be informed of these to prevent
unnecessary service calls. DISA can lockout when a predetermined number of
invalid consecutive calls are attempted. Callers will then receive error tone until the
programmable timer has expired. The

key may be used to initiate new dial tone
while in a station to station call. The # key may be used to terminate the DISA call
and disconnect the central office line. DISA lines must be assigned to the Ring
Plan(s).
