Enter the complete number that you want to dial (country code,
area code, and phone number), and select
to dial the
number.
Use the headset
You can use the headset that was supplied with your phone to
answer calls hands-free:
•
To answer a call, press the headset button.
•
To reject a call, press and hold the headset button.
•
To place a call on hold or retrieve a held call during a call, press and hold
the headset button.
•
To end a call, press the headset button.
Note:
The supplied headset is designed to be used only with your phone and
might not be compatible with other phones and MP3 players.
Call options
You can use the following options while a call is in progress:
•
Volume keys:
Press the Volume keys up or down
to adjust the
voice volume.
•
Speaker:
Activate the speakerphone.
Tip:
In noisy environments, you might have difficulty hearing some calls while
using the speakerphone feature. For better audio performance, use the
normal phone mode.
•
Mute:
Turn off the microphone.
•
Headset:
Use the Bluetooth headset.
•
Hold:
Place the call on hold.
•
Unhold:
Retrieve a held call.
•
Add call:
Dial a new number to make a second call.
•
Dial pad:
Displays the dial pad.
•
Accept:
When the call waiting tone sounds, slide the green
Accept
icon
to answer the second call or slide the red
Reject
icon to reject the
second call. The phone prompts you to end or hold the first call.
Note:
You must subscribe to a call waiting service to use this feature.

Swap:
Switch between two calls.
•
Swap

End call:
End a held call.
•
Merge:
Make or answer a second call and then select
Merge
when
connected to the second caller. Repeat to add more callers.
Note:
You must subscribe to the multiparty call service to use this feature.
View and dial missed calls
Your phone displays calls that you have missed on the screen. To
dial the number of a missed call, open the shortcut panel and
select the missed call.
