Tip: 

If you forget your unlock pattern, bring your phone to a Samsung Service 

Centre to unlock it.

Lock your SIM card

You can lock your phone by activating the PIN supplied with your 
SIM card.

To lock your SIM card:

1.

In Idle mode, select 

Applications

 and then select 

Settings 

 

Location and security 

 Set up SIM card lock 

 Lock SIM Card

.

2.

Enter your PIN and select 

OK

.

Once the PIN lock has been enabled, you must enter the PIN each 

time you turn on the phone.

Note: 

If you enter an incorrect PIN too many times, your SIM card will be 

blocked. You must enter a PIN unlock key (PUK) to unblock the SIM 

card.

Tip: 

If you block your SIM card by entering an incorrect PUK, bring the card to 

your service provider to unblock it.

Activate the mobile tracker

If you phone has been stolen and someone inserts a new SIM 
card into your phone, the mobile tracker feature automatically 
sends the contact number to specified recipients to help you to 
locate and recover your phone.

To use the mobile tracker:

1.

In Idle mode, select 

Applications

 and then select 

Settings 

 

Location and security 

 Set Mobile tracker

.

2.

Enter an 8-digit mobile tracker password, enter it again to 
confirm it, and then select 

OK

.

3.

Select a recipient field and enter a phone number, including a 
country code (starting with +).

4.

Enter the sender's name.

5.

Enter a text message that will be sent to the recipient.

6.

Select 

Save
