Removal
The work described in this section is only to
be performed by personnel appropriately
qualified to carry out such tasks.
Risk of burn injuries due to hot or cold com-
ponents and pipeline.
Control thermostat components and the pipe
-
line may become very hot or cold. Risk of
burn injuries.
Î
Allow components and pipelines to cool
down or warm up to the ambient tem-
perature.
Î
Wear protective clothing and safety
gloves.
Before removing the valve, make sure the
following conditions are met:

The control thermostat is put out of oper-
ation (see the 'Decommissioning' sec-
tion).

Removing the control ther-
mostat
1. Pull the sensor out of the thermowell. In
cases where a thermowell is not used or
a sensor pocket is used, unscrew the
screw gland and pull out the sensor.
2. Unscrew the coupling nut (15) from the
valve and remove the control thermostat.
