Design and and operation of safety breakaway device
In the event of hitting an immovable obstacle one of the safety device flat bars slides out and
disconnects the safety device. After that the mower folds back about 34 degrees (
Fig. 17
).
The operator has time to shut off the tractor and protect the mower. Safety device spring is
adjustable (
Fig. 16
), therefore changing the force needed to make safety device work.
