5.7.4. Side shift on the ALPINA disc mower
The ALPINA disc mowers can be ordered with an optional side shift cylinder unit the travel speed
of which is adjustable with a manually-operated throttle valve. The side shift system allows shifting the
mower position up to 180 mm to the left or the right of the centreline.

5.8.
Unhitching the mower from the tractor
NOTE:
When unhitching make sure that no one is between the mower and the tractor.
Unhitching the mower from the tractor:

Lower the machine to a firm and level ground.
❑
Disengage the PTO from the mower deck. Turn off the tractor engine. Remove the ignition key.
❑
Secure the tractor against rolling away.
❑
Disconnect the hydraulic lines from the tractor (optional).
❑
Remove the PIC on both ends.
❑
Unhitch the machine completely from the TPH.
❑
Carefully drive the tractor away from the machine.
