Working components

Before operating the mower, inspect the condition of the disc blades and blade holders.
❑
Immediately replace all worn or damaged blades and blade holders.
NOTE:
Wear protective gloves while handling the working components.
4.6.
Power input connection (PIC) shaft
❑
Before operating, read all guidelines provided in the operating manual from the PIC shaft
manufacturer.
❑
Only use the PIC shafts recommended by the mower manufacturer and with the PIC guard in good
repair.
❑
For a safe operation, use PIC shafts which are undamaged and well maintained. Repair or replace
the PIC shaft if damaged.
❑
Always thoroughly inspect the condition of the PIC and PTO guards. Never operate if the PIC and/or
PTO guard is damaged or missing.
