Daily maintenance
Daily end-of-work maintenance:
❑
Wash the mower with pressurized water after every mowing. Thoroughly wash the areas between
the mower deck and the mowing discs; otherwise, the dry crust of mud and mowed grass may cause
premature failure of the mowing disc unit bearings.
❑
Remove all debris of plant, mud and dirt from the mower.
❑
Visually inspect all accessible parts, units and their connections. Retighten all loose bolts. Replace
all worn and damaged parts.
❑
Inspect the hydraulic lines for damage and wear.
❑
Inspect the mower deck for damage and wear.
❑
Lubricate the PIC telescopic shaft tubes with STP grease.
❑
Relubricate the machine as required, follow the lubrication instructions (see Section 7).
The components hazardous to the health and safety of the machine operators include damaged
mowing discs, tarpaulin aprons, worn / damaged hydraulic lines, PTO / PIC guards, and worn / damaged
mowing blades and holders.
NOTE:
All maintenance and adjustments done underneath the mower requires secure
propping of the lifted mower components to prevent their fall and the resulting
crushing hazards.
