USER MANUAL

NOTE:

Strictly follow the PIC shaft lubrication schedule. The lube points marked in

Fig.

4

require relubrication every 50 operating hours. Lubricate the PIC shaft also

before and after a prolonged disuse.

Other PIC shaft brands can be used if within the specified technical ratings and if approved by

SaMASZ.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

4.1.

General

Hazard of injury while hitching and  coupling the  mower to the tractor. The operator should use
protective gloves.

Do not operate the mower without the guards or the apron removed. Do not operate with the apron
if damaged or lifted (hazard of impact by hard objects ejected by the mower). If damaged, replace
the mower apron.

Start mowing only with the PTO nominal speed at 540 rpm for the ALPINA mower (or, optionally,
1000 rpm) or 1000 rpm for the SAMBA F mower.

Do not exceed the PTO speed of 600 rpm for the ALPINA mower (or, optionally, 1050 rpm) or 1050
rpm for the SAMBA F mower.

All bystanders must remain at a minimum safe distance of 50 m from the mower in operation.
Operate with extreme caution near roads and carriageways.

All servicing, repairs and adjustments can only be attempted with the tractor engine stopped, the
mower discs stopped, with proper tools, and with protective gloves.

All technical checks and adjustments of the mower can only be attempted with the mower extended,
lowered on a firm surface, and secured against inadvertent movement.

If any repair or adjustment is required with the mower lifted off the ground, it must be secured with
props against falling down.

Use personal protective equipment to protect your health when cleaning the machine.

Periodically inspect the disc blade fixtures for wear and damage. Replace the component with a
new one if it is damaged or worn.

A portable warning beacon must be attached to the mower for the duration of transport.

NOTE:

All servicing and repairs of the mower can only be attempted with the tractor
engine stopped, the ignition key removed, with the mower resting on the ground
and the mower parts at standstill. The PIC shaft must be uncoupled from the
tractor.

NOTE:

Do  not  allow  any  children  to  interact  with  the  machine  in  operation  or  in
standstill.

Periodically  inspect  all  bolts  and  fasteners.  Do  not  operate  the  machine  with  any  fasteners
damaged.

Operation of this mower in Poland requires compliance with the Polish Regulation of the Minister
of Agriculture and Food Economy dated 12/01/1998 and concerning the occupational health and
safety in
operation of farming tractors, machines, implements and technical equipment (Dz.U. 1998.12.51).
