Programming PLU Entry Limit or Price
Note: Open PLUs are automatically assigned a 7 digit entry limit. You do not
need to program this section for open PLUs, unless you wish to set a different
limit.
If you are programming a open PLU:

You can limit errors by setting the maximum amount that may be entered into a PLU.
If you are programming a preset PLU:
•
You can set the preset price. The price you program here is the amount that is
automatically registered when the PLU is entered.
Programming a PLU Entry Limit or Price
1.
Turn the control lock to the
PGM
position.
2.
Enter the number of the PLU you wish to program (1-300), press the
PLU
key.
3.
If the PLU is preset, enter the preset price, up to seven digits (01 to 1234567). (It is not
necessary to enter proceeding zeros. For example enter $1.00 as 100.)
OR
If the PLU is open, enter the highest amount that may be entered into the PLU.
4.
Press the
@/FOR
key.
5.
Repeat from step 2 above for each PLU you wish to program.
6.
Press the
CASH/TEND
key to end programming.
