CYLINDER / PISTON
CYLINDER INSTALLATION
Remove any gasket material from the cylinder gasket surface
on the crankcase.
NOTE
Do not damage the gasket surface.
Do not let any material fall into the crankcase.
Install a new cylinder gasket, O-ring and the dowel pins.
NOTE
Make sure that the oil orifi ce is not clogged.
Coat the cylinder and piston rings with clean engine oil an
install the cylinder.
NOTE
Be careful not to damage the piston rings during installation.
Tighten the 6 mm cylinder bolt.
TORQUE: 10-12 Nm
Install the cam chain guide roller and tighten the roller bolt.
TORQUE: 10 -14 Nm
Route the carburetor drain tube properly.
Install the cylinder head.
