The gap between each obstacle should be 90 cm
minimum.
Ŷ
Lay the wire 45 cm away from the obstacles.
Ŷ
Lay the wire 45 cm away from the perimeter edge.
Ŷ
Run perimeter test and adjust the wire if required.
LAWN LAYOUT D
Ŷ
Lawn layout D has a U-shaped lawn layout, with a
de ned obstacle.
Ŷ
Ensure that at least 1 m of wire extends at 90° to the
front of the charging station.
Ŷ
Ensure that at least 30 cm of wire extends at the rear of
the charging station. If the charging station is placed in
a corner, extend the wire 15 cm at a 45° angle to create
a curve before installing the wire. The wire behind the
charging station should be 45 cm away from the edge
of the lawn.
Ŷ
Parallel wires to and from each obstacle should have a
gap of less than 5 mm between each wire.
Ŷ
The gap between an obstacle and the perimeter should
be 90 cm minimum.
Ŷ
The two sides of the lawn are connected by a narrow
passage.
Ŷ
The narrow passage should have a width of 90 cm
minimum.
Ŷ
Lay the wire 45 cm away from the obstacles.
Ŷ
Lay the wire 45 cm away from the perimeter edge.
Ŷ
Run perimeter test and adjust the wire if required.
LAWN LAYOUT E
Ŷ
Lawn layout E has an irregularly shaped lawn layout,
with a narrow passage in between.
Ŷ
The gap between each obstacle should be 90 cm
minimum.
Ŷ
Lay the wire 45 cm away from the obstacles.
Ŷ
Lay the wire 45 cm away from the house.
Ŷ
Lay the wire 5 cm away from open perimeter, or any
level paving stones around the house.
Ŷ
Run perimeter test and adjust the wire if required.
LAWN LAYOUT F
Ŷ
Lawn layout F has split lawns or zones, with a narrow
passage in between.
Ŷ
Both lawns are free from obstacles.
Ŷ
The narrow passage should have a minimum width of
90 cm. The wire should be laid 30 cm from each side of
the narrow passage.
Ŷ
The lawn has 4 starting points, set as follows:
Ɣ
Charging station – starting 30% of the time
Ɣ
Start point 2 – set 10 m from the charging pad,
starting 20 % of the time
Ɣ
Start point 3 – set 70 m from the charging pad,
starting 30 % of the time
Ɣ
Start point 4 – set 100 m from the charging pad,
starting 20 % of the time
Ŷ
Ensure that at least 1 m of wire extends at 90° to the
front of the charging station.
Ŷ
Ensure that at least 30 cm of wire extends at the rear of
the charging station. If the charging station is placed in
a corner, extend the wire 15 cm at a 45° angle to create
a curve. The wire behind the charging station should be
45 cm away from the edge of the lawn.
Ŷ
Lay the wire 45 cm away from the obstacles.
Ŷ
Lay the wire 45 cm away from the perimeter edge,
except for narrow passages.
Ŷ
Run perimeter test and adjust the wire if required.
LAWN LAYOUT G
Ŷ
Lawn layout G has split lawns (Lawn A and Lawn B).
Ŷ
The lawns are separate, with a gravel path between
them. Lawn A and lawn B are connected with parallel
wires to create a single loop. The parallel wires should
be laid no more than 5 mm apart, ensuring that the
wires do not cross.
Ŷ
Lay the wire 45 cm away from the perimeter edge.
Ŷ
The parallel wires should be laid in a safe location and
free from disturbance.
Ŷ
The docking station is placed in Lawn A. To cut Lawn
B, the robotic lawn mower is carried from Lawn A to B.
In Lawn B, run the robotic lawn mower in Manual Mode
for the required time to complete the task. Once Lawn
B is complete, the robotic lawn mower is carried back
to Lawn A. In Lawn A, place the robotic lawn mower
in dock to recharge. If desired, to continue with Lawn
A, set the robotic lawn mower back to Schedule Mode.
Ŷ
Run perimeter test and adjust the wire if required.
