7. Continue the process of laying the boundary wire
around the lawn using the guidance rulers and pegs.
NOTE:
The minimum width of narrow passages or
garden gates is 90 cm. For these cases only, install
the wire 30 cm from each edge of the narrow passage,
allowing 30 cm between each wire. See Lawn Layout F.
At the rear side of the charging station, make sure that
there is 30 cm of straight wire and 15 cm at a 45 angle

SPLICING THE BOUNDARY WIRES
Use an original coupler if the boundary wire is not long
enough for the work area and needs to be spliced.
1. Insert both wire ends into the coupler. Check that the
boundary wires are fully inserted into the coupler. Both
ends of the boundary wires should be visible through
the transparent area on the other side of the coupler.
2. Press the button on top of the coupler to connect the
both ends of the boundary wires. If necessary, use a
polygrip to completely press down the button on the
coupler.
CONNECTING THE POWER SUPPLY
Ŷ
If the transformer is connected to an outdoor power
outlet, ensure that the power outlet is designed for
outdoor use.
Ŷ
The transformer cable must not, under any
circumstances, be shortened or extended.
Ŷ
Place the transformer cable so that the blades can
never come in contact with the cable.
Ŷ
The transformer must be placed in a well-ventilated
area. Do not expose the transformer to direct sunlight.
Ŷ
Do not, under any circumstances, mount the
transformer at a height where there is a risk of it being
submerged in water. The transformer must not be
placed on the ground.
Ŷ
Never connect the transformer to the power outlet if the
plug or cord is damaged. Damaged or entangled cord
increases the risk of electric shock.
To connect the power supply, perform the following steps:
1. Connect the transformer cable to the charging station.
