 WARNING:

Before inspecting, cleaning, or servicing the machine, shut 
off engine or motor, wait for all moving parts to stop, and 
disconnect spark plug wire and move it away from spark 
plug, disconnect from power supply, or remove the bat-
tery pack. Failure to follow these instructions can result 
in serious personal injury or property damage.

 WARNING:

Always wear eye protection with side shields marked to 
comply with ANSI Z87.1 along with hearing and breathing 
protection. Failure to do so could result in objects being 
thrown into your eyes and other possible serious injuries.

 WARNING:

When servicing, use replacement parts that meet or 
exceed original product specifications. Use of any other 
parts could create a hazard or cause product damage.

NOTICE:

Periodically inspect the entire product for damaged, 
missing, or loose parts such as screws, nuts, bolts, caps, 
etc. Tighten securely all fasteners and caps and do not 
operate this product until all missing or damaged parts are 
replaced. Please contact customer service or a qualified 
service center for assistance.

GENERAL MAINTENANCE

Avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic parts. Most plastics 
are susceptible to damage from various types of commercial 
solvents and may be damaged by their use. Use clean cloths 
to remove dirt, dust, oil, grease, etc.

 WARNING:

Do not at any time let brake fluids, gasoline, petroleum-
based products, penetrating oils, etc., come in contact 
with plastic parts. Chemicals can damage, weaken or 
destroy plastic which may result in serious personal injury.

LUBRICATION

All of the bearings in this product are lubricated with a suf-
ficient amount of high grade lubricant for the life of the unit 
under normal operating conditions. Therefore, no further 
bearing lubrication is required.

REPLACING THE WIRE BRUSH

See Figure 9.

 

Remove the battery pack.

 

Press the latch to release the wire brush and deflector 
assembly from the unit.

 

Press and hold the spindle lock while carefully rotating 
the assembly until the head locks securely into place.

 

NOTE:

 Wear protective gloves while handling the wire 

brush.

 

Use the included hex key to loosen and remove the bolt. 

 

Remove and dispose of the used brush.

 

Replace with the new brush.

 

Insert the bolt and finger tighten.

 

Press and hold the spindle lock and rotate the brush until 
the head is locked. 

 

Securely tighten the bolt.

STORING THE PATIO CLEANER – WIRE 
BRUSH

 

Remove the battery and store in a safe, dry place out of 
the reach of children.

 

Wipe the product with a clean dry cloth.

 

Check all nuts, bolts, knobs, screws, fasteners, etc., for 
tightness.

 

Inspect moving parts for damage, breakage, and wear. 
Have repairs made on any damaged or missing parts. 

 

Store sweeper indoors in a clean, dry place out of the 
reach of children.

 

Do not store near corrosive materials such as fertilizer or 
rock salt.
