Note
In oil separators with a power of 2.5 m³/h, the non-
return flap is located under the coalescer package in
the oil separator
à
chapter 11.4. When unscrewing
the diffuser, it is possible that in this type of oil
separator the diffuser is not screwed out of the non-
return flap but that the non-return flap is screwed off
the centre tappet in the oil separator. In such case,
the diffuser cannot be pulled out, it remains in the
coalescer package for a while. Continue with the next
step and then pull out the diffuser together with the
perforated round plate and the non-return flap.
Grab the winding end of the coalescer tissue with
17)
pliers and pull it up a bit. Then pull the coalescer
package winding layer per winding layer completely
out of the oil separator.
For oil separators with a power of up to 2.5 m3/h,
18)
take out the perforated round plate und unscrew the
non-return flap unless already done under step 1.12.
For oil separators with a power of 5 m³/h or more,
19)
remove the coalescer cross from below out of the oil
separator.
Clean the inside of the oil separator container.
20)
Mounting the coalescer package for oil separators up to 2.5 m³/h
11.5.2
Remove circlip from the diffuser in the centre.
1)
Pull off coalescer cross from the diffuser and place it
2)
aside.
Insert the coalescer package in this state into the oil
3)
separator and push down until it reaches the support.
Use the coalescer key to screw the diffuser with the
4)
non-return flap onto the threaded tappet at the lower
part of the oil separator.
Note
It might be necessary to align the diffuser thread to
the tappet thread at the bottom of the oil separator
by a slight lateral tilt with the coalescer key and then
screw it on.
Push the coalescer cross over the diffuser up to the
5)
coalescer package.
Insert circlip into the circlip groove of the diffuser.
6)
Mounting the coalescer package for oil separators 5.0 m³/h and 10.0 m³/h
11.5.3
Remove circlip from the diffuser.
1)
Pull off upper coalescer cross from the diffuser and
2)
place it aside.
Pull off the lower coalescer cross from the coalescer
3)
package.
Insert the coalescer cross
4)
Insert the coalescer package in this state into the oil
5)
separator and push down until it reaches the support.
Use the coalescer key to screw the diffuser onto the
6)
threaded tappet at the lower part of the oil separator.
