Before You Begin
Get to Know the Access Point Features
If you want to extend the range of your wireless network, you can connect external
antennas (5GHz only) to the standard N-type radio frequency (RF) antenna connectors on
the top panel of the Access Point. For more information, refer to
“(Optional) Mounting
and Connecting the 5GHz External Antennas”

page 51
.
NOTE:
The maximum value for the antenna gain that you should set depends on the type
of external antennas that you are connecting to the AP. Refer to
“Maximum Antenna Gain
Value”
on
page 52
for more information.
DC Connector
In addition to PoE, you can also use direct current or DC
(from a battery, for example) to supply power to the Access
Point.
