Installation Procedure
Step 1
Use a No.13 wrench to lose the safety ring then open
the PP end cap of the 4040 RO membrane vessel.
Take out the ROTEK XL-4040 membrane from the
package, then insert it into the membrane vessel.
Please pay attention to the direction of the
membrane (The arrow on the label should head
downward).
Place back the PP end cap of the membrane vessel,
and Make sure to lock the water outlet pipe and
safety ring are secure.
NOTE!
Do not overtighten.

Connect the pre-treated incoming water source to the
inlet filter housing using a ¾” male thread coupling.
Use Teflon tape and leak sealant as necessary to
ensure a leak-proof connection.
