4.
Skateboard
The skateboard is the wooden board along with the wheels that carries a rider. The function of individual part of
skateboard is described below.

4.1
Battery Casing
Battery casing is the covering and protecting plastic shield of the battery. This casing is not supposed to be opened in
normal conditions.
4.2
Mother Board Casing
Mother board casing is the covering and protecting metallic shield of mother board. This casing also dissipates the heat
of the mother board. This casing is not supposed to be opened in normal conditions.
4.3
Motors
There are two BLDC motors with hall sensors. Each motor is 300W. The motors provide the accelerating power and
electronic braking power to the skateboard controlled by the rider.
4.4
Weight Sensors
There are two weight sensors each installed on each side of the skateboard. These weight sensors measure the rider’s
total weight and the differential weight. These are used to drive the skateboard in body control mode.
4.5
Turning Screw
The turning screws on each side of the skateboard are adjusted to tune the turning force of the skateboard.
