Go Board B2 Safety Block
Whenever device is under abnormal or critical or unwanted conditions, the safety of GoBoard is taken a great care.
There are two safety levels i.e. Warnings Codes, Error Codes and Safety Shutdown.
7.1
Warning Codes
Warning codes are semi-safety conditions under which the device operation is not aborted fully but it is restrained and
limited. The warning codes are intimated by the alarming and notification on mobile application. Once the device is out
of semi-safety conditions, the warning code disappears. There are several warning codes which are discussed below.
7.1.1
WARNING_CODE_DEVICE_IS_NOT_ACTIVATED
This warning code indicates that the device is not activated and the speed is limited to 5 Km/h during this. The device
must be activated to clear this warning.
7.1.2
WARNING_CODE_REMOTE_DEACCELERATING
In remote control mode, if the speed is high and remote signal is lost for 2 seconds or in balance mode at high speed, if
the rider jumps off the skateboard for more than 0.4 seconds, this warning code is generated and it decays the
skateboard speed to zero.
7.1.3
WARNING_CODE_HIGH_STALL_CURRENT
If the skateboard speed is less 3 Km/h and the battery drawn current is more than 5A continuously for more than 3
seconds, this warning code is generated and it limits motor output power. If the condition still exits for more than 10
seconds, the motor power is cut off and error code is generated.
7.1.4
WARNING_CODE_REMOTE_SIGNAL_LOST
In remote control mode, if the speed is high and remote signal is lost for 2 seconds, this warning code is generated and it
decays the skateboard speed to zero.
7.1.5
WARNING_CODE_MOSFET_OVERHEAT
If motor’s winding estimated temperature is 10 degrees higher than the mother board’s temperature this warning is
generated. This warning doesn’t limit anything.
7.1.6
WARNING_CODE_BATTERY_TILT_BACK
If the short circuit battery voltage is less than 34V (minimum operational voltage) or difference between open circuit
and short circuit battery voltage is more than 6V, this warning code is generated. It limits the motor output power. This
warning code indicates that either battery is too low or battery health is not good.
7.1.7
WARNING_CODE_TEMPERATURE
If the mother board temperature is more than 70 degrees, this warning code is generated. The motor’s output power and
speed is limited linearly with the rise in temperature from 70 degrees to 85 degrees till the error code is generated and
motor output power is cut off.
