Chapter 6: Changing SDM-3R Parameters for
Standalone Operation
The parameters available for editing in the
SDM
Window are parameters that are saved in the SDM-
3R.
These parameters do not affect PC Program operation but they will affect Standalone operation.
See “Chapter 4: Program Setup” on page 25 for a description of parameters that affect only operation
of the PC Program.
The SDM Window has 4 tabs:

Bump & Cal 1
•
Bump & Cal 2
•
Internal
•
Automatic
A station’s settings can be saved to a file and a file can be imported using this window.
Entering the SDM Window
1.
Open the PC Program.
2.
Confirm that the AC adapter is connected to the SDM-3R and to an AC wall socket.
3.
Connect the Type A to Type B USB cable to the SDM-3R and to an available USB port on
your computer.
4 .
Press the SDM-3R’s POWER button. When the SDM-3R connects to the PC Program, it
appears in the SDM-3R/GX-3R Pro Display Area.
NOTE:
When the SDM-3R is connected to the PC Program, the date and time of the docking
station are automatically updated to the current date and time on the PC Program’s
screen.
