and, if necessary, post operating instructions at the workplace that also con-
tain at least the following passages:
– Work on electrical equipment must be performed only by qualified electri-
cians.
– For all work on the electrical equipment of the Perforex BC machining cen-
tre, the main switch must be switched off by the company’s, technically
responsible supervisor and be secured with a lock from being switched on
again. The key must be removed and be carried by this supervisor.
– After completion of the work and before switching on power again, the re-
sponsible supervisor must ensure that this is possible without endangering
persons or equipment. Before switching on the equipment, a timely and
clear warning must be issued to all involved persons.
– The operation of the Perforex BC machining centre is permitted only when
the personnel is wearing the prescribed personal protective equipment. In
particular, this also applies to maintenance and servicing work.
If necessary, the operating instructions must be augmented with instructions
with regard to the supervisory and reporting obligations for considering spe-
cial operational considerations, e.g. concerning work organisation, work-
flows, deployed personnel.
Also observe the generally valid, statutory and other binding regulations of
the European or national legislators as well as the regulations for accident
prevention and environmental protection valid for your country.

Hazardous situation which may lead to death or serious in-
jury if the instructions are not followed.
– In the DGUV (German Social Accident Insurance) area of validity, the op-
erating company is obliged to check every 6 months the proper condition
in accordance with DGUV regulation 3 § 5 Section 1 No. 2 "Electrical Sys-
tems and Equipment".
2.3 Operators and specialists
Although the construction of the Perforex BC machining centre is state-of-
the-art and for safe operation, it can be a source of danger if it is operated
improperly by untrained personnel or used for a purpose for which it is not
intended.
Note:
The Perforex BC machining center may only be operated and
maintained by specially trained personnel.
A qualified person is someone who, based on his technical training, his
knowledge and experience as well as his knowledge of the relevant regula-
tions, is able to assess the work assigned to him, recognize possible dan-
gers and take appropriate safety measures. A qualified person must comply
with the relevant technical rules.
– The operating personnel are informed in regular training courses of the
necessity to wear their personal protective equipment. Whereby, they are
also informed that working without protective equipment can lead to severe
and also permanent injuries.
– The assignment of access authorisations for installation, commissioning,
operational and servicing work must be specified clearly and observed so
