Preparation

Connecting the Printer (Local Printer)

1. Connect the printer cable to the PRINTER connector on the rear panel of the

unit.

Note

Only printers supporting Post Script Level 2 and above can be
used. Basic set up is completed when the unit is shipped from
the factory. Simply connecting to a printer allows printouts to be
made.

A network printer can also be connected with the unit. However,
an enquiry must be made to the system administrator, as the en-
vironment will be different depending on the network installed.
Refer to “Settings for a Printer Connected to the Network” on
page 116 for basic set-up.
