5.1.1 : Power OK LED
The Power OK led is illuminated when all of the on-board power supplies are operating within
specification. The VP3500 generates all its required on-board power from VPX +12V and +5V.
5.1.2 : GbE Switch LEDS
There are 5 GbE ports on the VP3500, four of which are routed to the VPX backplane and comply with
VITA 46.6 routing. The fifth is also routed to the backplane and may be used as a general-purpose GbE
port.
The table below defines the GbE port LED functionality.

Green. This LED indicates port 0 of the Ethernet switch has
established a 1Gb link.
GbE Port 0 100Mb Link
(VITA 46.6 1000BASE-T)
Yellow. This LED indicates port 0 of the Ethernet switch has
established a 100Mb link.
GbE Port 0 Activity
(VITA 46.6 1000BASE-T)
Green. This LED indicates port 0 of the Ethernet switch is currently
transmitting or receiving data.
GbE Port 1 1Gb Link
(VITA 46.6 1000BASE-T)
Green. This LED indicates port 1 of the Ethernet switch has
established a 1Gb link.
GbE Port 1 100Mb Link
(VITA 46.6 1000BASE-T)
Yellow. This LED indicates port 1 of the Ethernet switch has
established a 100Mb link.
GbE Port 1 Activity
(VITA 46.6 1000BASE-T)
Green. This LED indicates port 1 of the Ethernet switch is currently
transmitting or receiving data.
GbE Port 2 1Gb Link
(GP GbE routed to VPX P6)
Green. This LED indicates port 2 of the Ethernet switch has
established a 1Gb link.
GbE Port 2 100Mb Link
(GP GbE routed to VPX P6)
Yellow. This LED indicates port 2 of the Ethernet switch has
established a 100Mb link.
GbE Port 2 Activity
(GP GbE routed to VPX P6)
Green. This LED indicates port 2 of the Ethernet switch is currently
transmitting or receiving data.
GbE Port 4 Link/Active
(VITA 46.6 1000BASE-BX)
Green. This LED when on indicates a successful Gb link. When it
flickers the link has activity.
GbE Port 5 Link/Active
(VITA 46.6 1000BASE-BX)
Green. This LED when on indicates a successful Gb link. When it
flickers the link has activity.
GbE Int
Yellow. This LED indicates an unmasked interrupt event occurred.
