Audio I/O Processor Block
The R/L signal inputs entered from the respective audio terminals are sent to the
output amplifier IC (IC8003) via the audio processor IC (IC8001). Generally, the
R/L signal outputs generated from the audio processor IC are multiplexed and
then sent out of the internal monaural speaker (8
Ω
, 10W max.).
If a cable has been connected to the audio output terminal, the internal speaker
is muted and the R/L signals only generated from the audio processor IC are
output to the audio output terminal.
The Audio output can be generated while the projector standby mode is set to
‘Normal ’, however, when Power-Saving is set, and if it moves to Power-Saving,
it cannot be generated.
The volume control is performed by the audio processor IC under I

from IC3001, and it is effective for both AUDIO OUT output and the speaker
output.
In this projector, a beep sound is generated at the time of key operation or the
like. This beep sound is generated by multiplexing the PWM output of IC3001
with the input of the output amplifier IC.
After the completion of decoding process in IC1504, the digital audio signals of
HDMI are entered in the audio DAC (IC1502). This IC is used for conversion into
analog signals, which are then fed to the audio processor IC.
