Rearranging Originals After Clearing Misfed Paper

Close all doors or covers you opened to remove misfed paper.

Make sure that the copier is in the Ready condition.

❐

If misfeed indicator appears after you close the doors or cover, there are still
sheets of misfed paper in the copier. Clear misfeeds once again.

The number of originals that
should be reset is displayed in
the message area. Remove that
number of originals from the top
of the stack of originals from the
originals stacker.

Remove originals set in the docu-
ment feeder.

Place the originals removed in
step 3 under the originals re-
moved in step 4.

Set the originals in the document
feeder, then press the Start key.
