Duplex Scanning (Single-pass)



A CCD (inside the scanner unit, below the ADF) scans the front side, and
a CIS (inside the ADF) scans the rear side.



This means that for two-sided scanning, the original feeds though the
scanner one time only.



The resolution of the CIS is 600 dpi, the same as the CCD.



The white roller below CIS is used as a white reference point
