Feed into the Purge Tray

To send paper to the purge tray,
the following things happen:

Paper Exit Motor ON (CCW)

Inverter Entrance Motor ON
(CW)

Paper Exit Inverter Motor ON
(CW, RT)

Fusing Motor ON (CW)
» Except if the jam was caused
by a fusing unit problem

Exit Inverter solenoid ON

Duplex Inverter Motor ON
(CW)
» At the time that the Duplex
Inverter Sensor turns ON

Duplex Transfer Motor (CW –
this is the opposite direction to
normal operation)
» At the time that the duplex
entrance sensor turns ON

The purged paper sensor detects
if there is paper in the purge tray.
