Side-to-side Folder Mechanism - 1
1. While sliding from the upper path toward the lower track, the side-to-side
folder unit [C] pushes junction plate 1 [B] out and moves to the center of
the paper stack.
2. As the side-to-side folder unit moves to the lower track [C], the upper
roller of the side-to-side folder unit is pushed down. By the pressure of
the spring, the side-to-side folder unit [C] applies pressure to the spine of
the booklet.
3. While applying pressure to the paper, the side-to-side folder unit [C]
moves towards the front side of the machine (right side in the diagram).
4. At position [D], the upper roller of the side-to-side folder unit pops up
from the lower track to the upper track.
