PAPER JAM CODES
When a jam occurs, a graphic illustration of the main machine, finisher, booklet
finisher, Z-fold unit, cover interposer tray, LCT, and bypass tray appears on the
operation panel screen.
The location of the jammed paper becomes lit (does not flash) in the graphic
illustration.
A jam code is displayed on the operation panel to indicate the cause and location
of the jam. For more details, please refer to the tables on the following pages.
Note concerning the tables
•
Late: Paper should be at the sensor, but it is not.
•
Lag: There should be no paper at the sensor, but paper is present.
