Before removing the waste toner
bottle from the printer, spread pa-
per or some other material around
the area you are working to keep
toner from making floor dirty.

Turn on the printer’s power
switch.

Open the front cover by pushing
the front cover release button.

Hold the inset grips (green part)
of the photoconductor unit, and
pull the top side of the photocon-
ductor unit forward.

Replace the waste toner bottle .

Grasping the waste toner bot-
tle by its green tabs, remove it
from the printer.

Insert a new waste toner bottle
at the rear of the photoconduc-
tor unit.
Insert a new waste toner bottle
completely. Otherwise, print
problem may occur.
•
Do not incinerate spilled toner
or used toner. Toner dust
might ignite when exposed to
an open flame.
•
Disposal can take place at our
authorized dealer or at appro-
priate collection sites.
•
If you dispose of the used ton-
er containers yourself, dis-
pose of them according to
your local regulations.
•
When accessing the inside of the
machine, do not touch any sec-
tions other than those specified
in this manual. If you do, it might
result in receiving a burn or inju-
ry.
