Supply voltage (SUP)
•
Function: Gives toner to the developing roller.
•
Output voltage: –400V ~ 800 V DC °50 V (Use ZENER, DEV gear)
•
Error:
1) If SUP is GND, density goes down.
2) If DEV floats due to an unstable contact point of terminal, etc., density
goes down.
6.5.2 SMPS (SWITCHING MODE POWER SUPPLY)
This is the power source for the full system and is located at the bottom of the set.
It has the SMPS part, which gives DC power to drive the system. The AC heater
control part gives power to fuser. SMPS has four outputting channels (+5 V, +12 V,
+12 V and +24 Vs).
These types of power are available:
• 120 V (North America)

220 V (Europe, Asia, China)
