EDID
EDID commands are used to set the display resolution and timing to be
used by the graphics host. See
EDID Control
for an explanation of
EDID management.
EDIDMode
- Set the EDID mode to fixed or dynamic.
DISPLAYMODE
- Set the display EDID mode to emulated or pass-
through.
EDIDPRiority
- Select minimum resolution or output number as priority
criteria.
LoaDFixedEDID
- Load EDID list entry into input fixed EDID register.
LoaDEmulateEDID
- Load EDID list entry to the output emulate register.
SaVeEDID
- Save content of the display register to an EDID list entry.
DELeteEDID
- Delete an EDID list entry.
NAMEEDID
-Name an EDID list entry.
LiStEDID
- List the parameters for one or more EDID list entries.
EXportEDID
- Exports an EDID list entry to memory for FTP transfer.
IMportEDID
- Imports an EDID list entry after FTP transfer.

SETTINGS
System settings can be exported to a text file and transferred to a PC for
subsequent import back to a
Linx Switcher
. It is recommended that
settings be exported prior to updating firmware. Exporting and importing
can also be used to transfer settings between multiple switchers. See
Transferring Files
on page 44 for instructions on transferring exported
files to and from the
Linx Switcher
.
EXPORTSETTINGS
- The exported parameters can be selected by
entering the appropriate argument to the command. These are presets,
system, EDID, or all.
P R E S E T S
The name assigned for all 99 presets is listed. This is followed by the
output 1 and its input number for all presets; subsequent outputs and
input routes for all presets follows.
S Y S T E M
The model number and firmware version are saved to a file.
