RENA XPS-80/90
User Guide
6-15
Note
: The longer the delay, the more chances there is for nozzles
to become clogged.
16.7 Cleaning cycle (XPS-90)
Sets the number of pieces printed before the print nozzles should
be cleaned.
Settings: 1000, 300, 200, 100, 50, off.
Note
: In general, the more frequent the cleaning, the better the
print quality will be maintained. On the other hand, the more fre-
quently the cleaning, the more often the wipers and felt pads will
need to be cleaned or serviced. It is not recommended to use the
“off” choice.
16.8 Warming
Warming the print nozzles: off, on, pre.
Note
: The reasoning behind this menu item is that warmer ink
flows better. However, the choices “on” and “pre” may initially im-
prove print quality (darkness of image), but can have an adverse
effect; causing nozzles to become clogged quicker. The recom-
mended setting is “off”.
16.9 Belt Stop Job
“end“:
The set time shows how long the transport system continues to
run after the end of the print job (all data has been printed).
Possible settings: def, 1min, 2min, 3min, 4min, 5min, off
“middle“:
The set time shows how long the transport system continues to
run during the print job (data is still present), if an interruption
should occur. Example: No paper feed, out of paper.
Possible settings: def, 1min, 2min, 3min, 4min, 5min, off
