Under the tab labeled
“Downloads”,
you can control which reoc-
curring (constant) objects are downloaded and stored in printer
memory (RAM).
Downloading objects (storing objects as macros) can increase the
printer speed because these objects are loaded once and then
recalled directly from printer RAM, instead of being reloaded for
every page. Objects to be downloaded are highlighted. Use the
Ctrl key, in conjunction with a left mouse click, to select or dese-
lect multiple objects.
Multiple Printers
The
“Multiple Printers“
tab allows you to share (split) data be-
tween two printers. This can be a useful feature to owners of mul-
tiple printers who want to utilize two printers, to print the same
data file, in order to complete the print job faster.
Settings
The
“Settings“
tab allows you to choose the printer model (driver),
choose the range of data you want printed and allows access the
properties control of the printer driver.
Note:
Many of the printer’s properties are selected by the print
dialog box items explained previously and can not be adjusted
via the print driver properties control.
