The oil heater and the oil heater ON pilot light (AMBER) will become inoperable. The oil
temperature will begin to decrease. The heater and the pilot light will remain OFF as long as the
oil pressure is below the low pressure set point of 9.3 BAR (135 PSI).
Once the low pressure switch operation has been confirmed, adjust the pressure control valve by
turning the adjusting screw C-Clockwise to set the system operating pressure to it normal
operating set point of 16.5 BAR (240 PSI). Securely tighten the lock nut.
Monitor oil pressure at the
oil filter inlet pressure
gauge while adjusting the
pressure control valve
(PCV)
Use the adjust the screw to
change the oil pressure
setting
When oil pressure is low,
the oil heater is not
operable and the oil
temperature decreases.
Once oil pressure increases
above low pressure set
point, heater operation
resumes
